Universal three-point over-the-line blower

A powerful high-performance turbine provides the necessary air flow and guarantees the accustomed spray pattern of the Turbine 460, also at the booms. Here specific attention was paid to smooth air flow in order to achieve maximum efficiency. The swivelling nozzle units (360 °) allow to process two or four rows without any problems. A free field of view to the rear, thanks to the elevated position of the turbine, allows for unrestricted visual inspection. The device can be adapted vertically and horizontally, via hydraulic cylinders, to any cultures. Here it is important that the centre of gravity is located centrally above the three-point and the spray units counteract the driving forces by means of a pendulum compensation system in order to prevent secondary damage.

New turbine 456

Twin turbine for fruit and wine-growing

The new turbine 456 was presented for the first time at the exhibition Intervitis Interfructa which took place in Stuttgart from 22nd to 26th April 2007.

This follow-up development of the reliable turbine 450/Maxi was designed for rows ranging from 1,80 m in height for wine-growing, to 7.00 m for fruit-growing. Like the turbine 460/Turbo 6, it was equipped with two more spray heads to obtain an even and horizontal product distribution required for wine and fruit-growing.

If compared with the turbine 460/Turbo 6, the air speed is 30% higher and this allows a better penetration in fruit-growing.

This new model is also fuel-saving, since it works at a lower engine speed
