After the long winter break, you should get your VICAR plant protection equipment ready for its first use. We will show you which parts you should check, clean and replace if necessary.

Check in sequence: drawbar play, wheel bolts, oil colour and oil level of pump and gearbox, air pressure of the diaphragm pump (5-8 bar), suction filter screen, pressure filter screen, nozzles and drip stop, lighting and, most importantly, the PTO shaft to the tractor. To do this, please carefully check the inner tube for abrasion (sharp edges) despite lubrication. Finally, check the tightness and the pressure gauge of the machine during the test run. Please also remember to check the correct overrun of the machine and the PTO shaft length after a possible tractor change!
